For Christmas, my living room is as red and white as my kitchen is blue and white.
My friend Gail at Victorian@Heart made my beautiful tree topper and bow. My granddaughter Drew helped to decorate the tree. It is all peppermint candies and red and white ornaments, berries and pointsettas. I started several years ago with just real candy canes and bows and added ornaments each year. Now I just have one real candy cane for each of the 10 grandkids. This year each will have their name on it with a gift certificate to our local Ice Cream/Candy Store called Dewars.
My coffee table. I'm sitting on my couch which is next to the tree looking into the kitchen.
I made these last year and they really go on my couch which is yellow, so I just threw them on my red and white chair for the picture. A few years ago, I took an upholsterery class and this is one of the chairs I did. You can see it a little better in the picture above.

Beverly, your tree looks so festive and "Christmassy". It looks wonderful, and I bet your grandkids love coming to your home and enjoying all the "goodies." I love your coffee table display -- so, so cute. Looking forward to seeing everything in person.
Hugs,
Sally
Your tree is so pretty. The bows look great - glad they kept well. Love your idea of gift certificates to our famous local candy store. So appropriate for the theme of your decor. Your tree reminds me of one of my favorites from years ago; all red and white candies and ribbon with some of my red and white dishes. I have lots of tiny plates and cups. Miss that tree now seeing yours.
Everything is beautiful Beverly. I love the red and white theme. It's so festive. The pillows are wonderful too. I saw them on the wing chair in the background of the coffee table photo and thought "how pretty" and then the next photo showed them close up! The wing chair turned out great too. I love red gingham.
Blessings,
Marcia
Hi Beverly!
Wow...you did that chair? It is tooooo wonderful! I love the checks....Years ago I saw a show on HGTV...where they had dining room chairs covered in this red buffalo check........It was Beee-u-ti-fullll....and that's just what your little chair reminds me of....great job! Love your decorations too. :-)
Warm blessings,
Spencer

Red is my favorite color, so I am just in love with the red/white decorating. Gorgeous. Your entire house is so much in the holiday spirit!
