Sigh...Done at Last

Not to worry, they got done in time....Like 3:00 Christmas Eve., but done.
These four little purses are for four of my six granddaughters.
They match a skirt that I made for each of them for back to school last fall. They are about 12"/7", so not too big.  I filled them with girlie goodies and it was so much fun. I am thinking of making some of these to sell for Valentines Day. What do you think?

Hope you are all having a relaxing day after Christmas. My sweetie is golfing and I am still in my robe and slippers, reading my favorite blogs and posting on mine.  I will have grandkids here for the next few days, so I am enjoying my quiet time before the storm....and I mean that in a good way as I love having them here.  We will play games, pop corn, watch movies and just have some fun.

Those are so cute Beverly. You should do a class at SP on something like that. I think a lot of people would love a cute purse like that for V day. I vote YES.

Hi Beverly,
Thank you for your kind words on the new blog look. I really appreciate it. I love the purses!!! You could definately sell them. How big are they? I would buy one for sure! My husband would be so jealous to know that yours is golfing. We are getting blanketed in snow at the moment. Big huge flakes coming down so slowly that its like we live in a snow globe. Have a wonderful time with your family!

The purses are just darling. I, too, vote yes! My babies just left, and I really miss them. What a great time you will make for yours! You're such a special gramma!

Your granddaughters are so fortunate to have you as their Grandma. And I am fortunate to have you as my friend. You made me a similar purse for Christmas one year and I cherish it. Even though I just have Grandsons, I would buy one for my daughter and daughter-in-law. Big girls as well as little girls love purses so they would sell.

What a wonderful idea to make purses to match their skirts! I'm sure the girls loved them (who wouldn't) and yes I think you should make some for Valentines Day or any occasion.
Glad you are having a wonderful time with the Grandkids....I'm jealous that the weather was nice enough for your husband to golf (we live on a golf course but I can't even see the tee box under all of the snow)
Have a great day.

Hi Beverly,

The little purses for your granddaughters are adorable...and extra special because they are hand made and knowing little girls I am sure they loved all the little goodies inside too. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and that the magic and spirit of the season are still lingering and that you can relax a bit now and just enjoy!
