Sew Sweet

I've been waiting to catch this little cutie still long enough to get a picture of her in her birthday dress.
If you have been following my blog, one of my first posts was a picture of her in the dress I made from pillowcases for her dedication.
Brooke is now 2 yrs. old.

I designed this pattern to be used with some of my linens, but when I found this collection of fabrics, I had to figure out a way to use as many as I could.  It is a Kiti Cupcake Design called Marabella. I got it at Strawberry Patches. Click Here and go to online catalog to find it.

Here's a closeup of the "tu-tu"(Brooke talk for dress)

And here is her  "puss" (Brooke talk for purse)

Indulge me a bit as I just have to show off some more pictures of Brooke. Once she got the idea, I was able to get several poses from her.
Sorry about the ugly table in the background. I didn't have time to stage the area....just lucky to get her still enough for pictures.

So what do you think?  Is she ready for the runway yet.?

Where do I start? The fabric is wonderful together; it blends and contrasts all at the same time. And the color is perfect with Brookes fare skin and blond hair. Love the pattern with the details you've added. The green trim and ric rac are perfect. You know how I feel about your pusses. So cute! You got some great photos of her. Nothing better than a live model.

Who would notice the table with a cutie like that to look at. I think she was asleep in her car seat the last time I saw her. What a cutie. I especially love the picture with her arms folded. So sweet. She is a lucky girl to have such a talented Grandma to make her beautiful Tutus and pusses. Love the combination of fabrics.

Hi Beverly...

The Quilt Shop Hop sounds like it was loads of fun.... Gotta love a bunch of quilters together!

Your grandbabies are all adorable and I love those hats too. How darn cute. So much cuter, I think, than the hats I made for my daughter a gazillion years ago.

And, that little Brooke...yes, it does look like she got the hang of pictures. She's so cute and the little dress you made is too.

Huggies,
Spencer
