Last Hoorah for the Red, White and Blue (I Promise)

Hope you don't mind putting up with one more Red, White and Blue display. We didn't celebrate here on the 4th, but I still set my table.  It was worth it all when my grandkids arrived for dinner tonight and squealed when they saw the Teddy Bears' Picnic on the porch and then ohh'd and aww'd over the Candy Counter and were so excited to eat at the decorated table.
I used 2 framed print with flags

The fabric used down the center of the table has children marching in a parade and is knotted and pinked on the edges (I got this idea from my friend Linda at the birthday party she hosted for our friend Gail. You can see her table here)
No sew and sew easy

For my place setting I used a blue dinner plate from a set I bought at Vons 15 yrs ago, piece by piece.
I have 12 place settings and I still love it.
The square plate came from World Market a couple of years ago, as did the little sherbert to the left.
Even though it is a little more contemporary than I usually do, I liked adding a different shape since even my placemat is round.
The red bowl (Homegoods) on top is deep enough to be a soup bowl, but serves well for salad too.
The tableware is "cheap Big Lots"  I think, or maybe KMart
I love that my cobalt and milk glass collection could be used in this tablescape.
The sparkly star came from Michaels. At a whopping .70 ea., I couldn't resist

Well, that is finally it for my Red, White and Blue.
I am linking to Susan's Tablescape Thrusday @ Between Naps on the Porch.
