Prayer Request

I won't be posting for a while. I just can't seem to put words together or try to be clever.  My sweet friend Suzanne posted this a couple of days ago.  She has been so open on her blog about her son's illness and his family's struggles with it. Their faith in God's timing is such a testimony to all.
I wanted to ask all of you to pray for this wonderful family as they go through tragic times.
Also read here about how to donate to ALS and get a chance to win a beautiful quilt.
I will still be reading all of your blogs and keeping up and when I feel inspired again will come back to post.
Thanks to all of you for prayers and love sent to Jeff and his family.

I have been praying for Suzanne and her family for strength and comfort. Their faith has certainly been a testimony to me. May they continue to feel God's loving arms around them through these times. The Lord bless them.
Love,
Sally

First I want to thank you for your part in my quilt. It's the most beautiful quilt I've ever owned and to know you all dear ones had your hands on it, lovingly making it for me makes it all the more special.

Jeff is comfortable. We are waiting for the hospice nurse to come now and hopefully will have a better timeline later today. It's hard. So hard watching your child die, but I do feel your love and prayers and have a wonderful peace knowing that Jeff will soon be whole and happy in heaven.

I hope you'll continue to blog and share your gifts with your readers. You brighten my day with your Sew Sweet Studio.

I love you. Suzanne

Hi Beverly,
I just got finished reading some of Suzanne's posts about her son and then read her comment above.
I will say a prayer for her and her family.
It was really hard for me to read because you may or may not know that my husband was diagnosed with ALS in January. He currently is struggling with mobility and he tires easily. I know we will have many, many more challenges in the days ahead.
God Bless,
Jane

Hi Beverly,

I am so sorry to read of this sadness that this poor lady write about her son...I visited her blog and then came back to see what she had posted above in your comments. My heart aches for her! Thankfully she knows the Lord to help her through this! It is so horrific and cannot imagine that journey without God to carry her.

My prayers are with her and you as you take some time...

Yes.....my heart is heavy too. My sweet Mom also reads the blog and we wish we could do something more. I have bought tickets for the quilt, and we pray constantly for peace in their hearts and acceptance of God's will. So easy to say those words, so hard to live them. XXX

I'll be praying for Jeff and his family. I know that Suzanne and you have been friends for many years, so I know this is hard on your family too. I'll be praying for you also.
Blessings,

Popped over from Susy's Feathered Nest. I've had brain block while blogging. It's always good to take a breather.

I will definitely visit the link and pray.

I hope your Labor Day was restful!
