Blessings

After reading my friend Suzanne's blog the last two days, I decided to steal  adopt her idea of the Gratitude Jar for the New Year. I'm calling my version a Blessings Jar and since my vintage Mason Jar is full of coins, I grabbed this one off the shelf. I too am putting it right next to my sewing machine where I can write down a blessing...or two every day.
(I may have to get a bigger jar)

God has blessed me with a wonderful family and so many friends that my jar could already be full. Thank you family and friends.
Those blessings include my blogland friends...all of you who take the time to read and comment here.
Some of you I have met and some I know only through our blogs, but you all mean a lot to me.
Thank you for being a friend.

Happy New Year
May it bring many blessings to all of you.

I know what you mean about your jar. I realize mine's too small too but I'm staying with it. What would be sweeter than to have to stuff it full to overflowing with blessings?! I did see some awesome jars at HG the other day that would be perfect for anyone needing a larger version. Have a blessed New Year. I'm sew grateful for you!

Happy New Year, Beverly! I love the idea of a Blessing/Gratitude jar. I haven't been able to comment on Suzanne's blog for awhile, and I keep forgetting to ask her about it when I'm in the shop, even when sometimes that's my main purpose for stopping by. So maybe she will see this and know that I am grateful for her friendship and yours, too.

Happy Sewing!
Nancy

Happy New Year my friend. I'm so glad we've connected (how did that happen?). We must make a resolution to connect his year ~ maybe we could meet halfway somewhere. Blessings to you and your sweet family this new year ~ may it be filled with His peace, strength and prosperity. XO

I've made gratitude jars in the past filled with quotes on thankfulness and given them to friends as gifts. They were a big hit! Wishing you a wonderful new year filled with peace and possibility, love and opportunity, health and happiness. Blessings, Tammy

Hi friend! I love the idea of a blessings jar. There's not a day that passes that I don't thank God for our blessings. We just don't want to take them for granted...even little things like this cup of coffee I'm enjoying right now.
