It's a Pam Kitty Morning

Do you remember when a very special lady named Annelies of Sew Blessed shared her win of Pam Kitty Morning  with me?
Well, we both decided to join the Scrappy Plate Club at Bunny Hill Designs
We both finished piecing it over a year ago and mine was just taking up space in my sewing room because I had no place big enough to lay it out to baste it...until now.

My friend MariEllen insists that we stay in the Master Bedroom while Mr. SS has been remodeling her kitchen. One day, I just realized that the area in front of her bed would be the perfect size to baste my quilt.
So finally it got "sandwiched" and basted.
Let me tell you...I found muscles yelling at me for days after crawling around on the floor.
But TaaaaDaaaa
It is basted and ready to hoop

So I  got it in my 14" hoop and started stitching.

I really thought I was going to machine quilt this one, but, I just can't.
I have to hand quilt it.
This was what I did tonight. I quilted around the outside of the plate.

I had a little problem with the center, but I solved it and got the rest of the block marked.
No pictures , so will  just have to share that with you another time.

God is Good!!
Life is Good!!

Great minds think alike. Did you see my FB post last night on my Dresden pillow top? Dresden Plate was my very first quilt and I love making them. Yours is beautiful and so perfect for your little trailer. How fun to have it to work on all winter (even through it probably doesn't feel like winter at Mary Ellen's). I got to meet Annelies a month or so ago. What a sweet heart. I'm so glad you're found one another!

This is a little late, but wanted to comment anyway. Love your quilt! I never get tired of Pam Kitty colors and the Dresden is perfect. You'll have it hand quilted before you know it. Is the remodel finished?

Happy Sewing!
Nancy
