White on White

This fireplace and mantle are actually in my dining room.
I finally got my pitcher collection down from on top of my hutch, cleaned and placed on my mantle. They really could not be seen on top of the hutch except from one end of the room. It is in a little nitch and sets back from view. My pitchers are not all vintage and I picked them up one by one for several years. I have a few more that are placed other places around my house, but this is most of them.
I don't know if I should add some color such as greenery, but for now I am enjoying the simplicity of white on white.

This is one that I know is vintage. I bought it from a store called "The Feathered Nest" in Cambria several years ago. It has wheat embossed on it and says "Royal Crownford Ironstone " on the bottom
It also says "Weatherby Hanley Englnd Royal Falcon Ware Wheat" Several years later I saw a larger one, but it was way too expensive for my budget.

On a totally different subject.....I worked for a long time trying to put blogs and buttons of those that I follow and those that have followed me,  on my sidebar. I finally got one on.  I plan on adding all of the rest of you, (hoping I remember how I did that one), but it will take some time. Be patient, I will try not to leave any one out.

Boy, that's a lot of white pitchers! Now I don't feel quite so bad about having so many red and white dishes.

How about adding red hearts or vintage looking valentines? Your little grands would love them. Then, you can do the green or whatever later. (Sunflowers and flags, lemons and leaves, dust and spiders (that's what's on my mantel most of the time)). Great collection. Don't you just love collections?! = )

Hi Beverly, It's Joyce from "I Love Pretty Little Things" I found you. What a pretty blog! I also noticed from your profile that you are also in the 3 Boys Club. Fun! We just have lots of room in out hearts for daughter-in-laws and granddaughters!

Hi Beverly! Thanks for your encouraging words on my post today and for putting my button on your blog. So fun for me to see it! I'm just turning Max's situation over to God and will see what the morning holds. Oh, I love the mantel!

What a nice collection! They look very pretty on your mantel! Don't worry about the blogging
stuff, just about everything for me is a challenge! If you ever need a computer frustration/html shoulder to cry on, I'm your person. I don't even know how people "make" their own buttons!

Warmly,
Nancy

Hi Beverly,
I love how your white pitchers look on your mantel and I love your brick fireplace!. "Perfect".
I have a lot of work to do on my blog too, only thing is I don't know how to go about it all.
Take care and enjoy your day,
Elizabeth

Beverly, your mantle looks so clean and fresh. I love all of the white. You are so good at displaying and really have a knack at it. I like Suzanne's idea of adding color according to the season, if desired. So, so pretty. (It makes me want to get out all of my white pitchers; but, alas, nowhere to put them right now!!)

I love your display of white pitchers. I have several too, although not as many as you. Yours look great altogether there on your beautiful mantel. Go add you blog address to the McLinkey at Mantel Party every Friday, and join in.
Blessings,
Marcia

Hi Beverly Love the white pitchers. It would be a great way to add some seasonal touches without much work and still be seen in your adjoining rooms if you want to add color but it looks cute the way it is.
