Happy 4th of July

Just fell in love with this little BBQ.  Wish I knew where to find it.
I would love to have it to store away on our little blue and white trailer.
It was on a Southwest Airlines ad, so have no idea where to get one,
but it just says "4th of July" to me.
We have worked on our little blue and white trailer all weekend. I can't wait to show you some pictures.
I painted all day today and got all the trim, beadboard and ceilings painted...white of course.
Tomorrow, I'm painting the brass sconces, my brass table lamp and another brass light fixture...white of course.
I'ts getting close to being done. Mr. SS will start putting in the flooring tomorrow. Then there are just a few little fixits to do and I will be able to show you some befores and afters.
I still have all the fun stuff to do though. Curtains, chair covers and a little decorating.

Every one is kind of doing their own thing for the 4th, so I was feeling a little bummed because we are taking off for our home away from home tomorrow afternoon.
My son suprised us by asking one of our other sons and his family for dinner and some pre-4th fun.
That meant that 8 of the grandkids were here and having good cousin fun.

I'm sitting in the swing watching 4 of the cousins playing in Emmy's kiddie pool.
My thought is why the small pool when they have this:
But it wasn't long until this was filled with cousins, daddys and Papaw.
I think I'm about to get shot. Look at that face.

This is Camy. You can't see it, but a few days ago she tripped and fell, hitting her ear and her head behind her ear on the doll house. She had 30 stitches and can't swim for  awhile. But being Camy, she had a smile for me. It must be hard to whatch your cousins having so much fun.

Again, I'm wishing you all the best 4th of July ever.
I' m going to take some time to pray for and to think of the men and women fighting so we have the freedom to celebrate
today. I hope you will too.

I can really relate to your woes about the 4th. My little guy is with his dad this fourth and my granddaughter has a stomach virus so we will be missing our towns parade today and the BBQ burgers will just be me and my man's. On the bright side, I've got a block of the month caught up, four scrap quilt blocks done, one quilt cut and half way pieced and my house is clean...whew! Have a wonderful safe 4th and as always, travelling mercies to you as you head back south.

Looks like you are beating the heat. We are in Philadelphia and having a BBQ too but our BBQ is not like that cute one. I'll keep my eye out as I cross the country, not that I'm shopping much as you can tell on my blog. I felt so bad for Cami she still looks so cute. It made me hurt thinking about it. Love to all. Happy 4th!

Hi, Beverly. We just returned from my son's house in River Lakes, where we had a wonderful BBQ and watched all the grands put on quite a fireworks show. The food was outstanding and being with the family was good for my soul! I sure look forward to seeing your little trailer all fixed up. I thought the tee-shirt dress you helped Suzanne with was adorable. Just wanted you to know. Hope your little Cami gets along ok with the healing process. What a brave girl!

Hi Beverly! A happy belated 4th to you! Looks like you had a good time, nothing like kids and water - fun for all! Can't wait to see pictures of your make over. I've been painting too. Blessings today!

That looks like a fun day! I'm going to repaint my kitchen chandelier to oil rubbed bronze. I told my husband that we needed a new one and he said the funds are gone. :)

It looks like the cousins were having a wonderful time! My son always had such a fun time getting together with his cousins when they were little.
I am so looking forward to seeing the reveal on your trailer....sounds like you have been very busy!!
