Just Wondering

Recently I discovered something that a lot you might not be aware of.  Do you know if you are a "No comment-reply blogger".  I didn't until someone told me about it over a year ago. When you comment on one of my posts, it goes to my e-mail and I almost always send you a reply.

On my home computer your name comes up in my To box and I thought you were getting my reply. Since I have been usuing my laptop so much this summer, I have noticed that my laptop shows that many of you are a "No comment-reply blogger"

Now maybe you want it to be that way, but if you want to get replies, I have put a button on my sidebar  that will take you to a blog where she makes it really easy for you to check on and change your status.  Just click on the red No Reply Blogger button on my sidebar.

When I first started blogging I read on a blog that it is good blogger edicate to reply to comments, so I have always tried to do that and it saddens me to think many of you have not received my replies.

Anyway....just FYI.

The lampshade tutorial is coming along and I will post it Sunday night. The shade is done and I took tons of pictures and am trying to load them and explain what I am doing. Hope it turns out clear enough that some of you will want to do one.

Here is the finished shade.

The shade turned out beautiful!! I remember sending replies to a few "no-commment" bloggers before I started checking to see if there was an email address when I hit reply :)
Great post!

Beverly, I love that lamp shade! I think I'd better run down to SP and get some of that fabric before it is all gone. Can't wait for the tutorial. Best wishes.

Hi sweet Beverly,
I checked my settings, it appears that my email IS connected to my blogger account, I am having problems with blogger since I got my computer repaired and have to sign in with a user id on posts instead of my blogger account for some reason..irritating..so anyway, let me know if you can reply to my comment..

More important, LOVE the shade,oh those colors are beautiful..love the blue and white..i should give you my blue and white dishes..

I have two lampshades in my bedroom that I am tired of, I might have to try to recover them..awaiting your tutorial my friend..

hugs and love
Barb

Hi Beverly, I've noticed that a lot of people have talked about this subject of no-comment reply blogger. My thought on that is that it is nicer to actually visit someone's blog and leave a comment rather than just sending a reply by email. I don't know what my settings are ... but my email is in my sidebar, so if someone visits, they can still send an email if they wish. But an actual blog visit is even nicer. :)

Love the lampshade! Have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend. Tammy

I always receive your sweet replies in my email. I always look forward to them. Now I just need to figure out to get my blog comments to come to my in-box. I really want to be able to reply individually.
