First Day of School

Can it possibly be that time already? I wanted to get some photos of the girls in the new dresses, I made, but they were running late and I felt lucky to get a quick snapshot of them before they took off. We met half way  in front of the chicken coop and of course the little ones wanted to be in the picture too.
Jack's first day of kindergarten. Baby Emmy has on an outfit I made for Drew (now almost 12) when she was a baby. Oh my goodness, I am sew blessed. Love those sweet faces, all of them.

My DIL promised she got individual pictures of the three older girls and  would e-mail them, so I will be able to post later. You can see Drew's dress well, though.

Just in case you have missed this before, these 6 belong to my youngest son and his wife. We live in their back yard (well when we are not in Riverside).  I have to repeat myself...I am sew blessed.

You made five out of six outfits - I recognize the pink top too. You are a big part of those kids lives and yes, you are very blessed.

As I've mentioned before, I've followed your blog for some time, and I know that you've had some ups and downs lately. But as you say, you are sew blessed by having those grandchildren close by. I have one granddaughter up in Washington and one in the San Diego area. We visit them as often as possible, but, oh, to have them in my back yard -- heaven! The outfits are amazing, but I wouldn't expect any less.

Hi Beverly,
What special memories the kids are going to have of the first day of school when Grandma made their outfit's. They all look so happy and beautiful dressed! A really great photo!
I just finished a baby quilt for my niece and I'm dropping it off tonight after work at the quilters. So now on to the next project I think I'm going to try my hand at the Farmers Wife blocks. They look like fun.
Have a sweet day and hugs, Elizabeth

I loved seeing a photo of your sweet grandkids. They all look adorable. It brings back memories of you making outfits for Monica...35 years ago. I was blessed to have you next door way back then and they are blessed to have a Grandma like you. Have a great day.
