Uh-Oh!! I Did it Again and An Unexpected Gift.

Okay I couldn't resist entering one more. When  I saw all the sweet little pink goodies, I entered. About a

month ago, Spencer  @ Bellamere Cottage offered this:

Now, I ask you, who wouldn't want to get a chance to give these beauties a home.

I had just won the CSN gift certificate and swore off entering any more. After all, I have won five or is it six, now.

What can I say...I'm weak when it comes to pink. (Might have something to do with having 7 granddaughters)

It was a beautiful day today and I couldn't resist taking them outside to photograph.

There is a little story about why I haven't posted about this before. (Besides the embarassment of winning again.) Spencer got these off to me a few days after the win and confirmed by email it should arrive around the 11th of March. Well it never showed up and eventually she and I both traced it through our P.O.

It was delivered on March 14th., but to the wrong house. Can you believe the people just held on to it and it took the carrier leaving a note to get them to leave it out for him. It was delivered to me this week unopened...Whew!

Well worth the wait though.

I'm a Little Embarrassed...Only a Little!

I'm a winner again!!

Okay, I know y'all think I cruise blogs looking for giveaways.

Yeah, right you say...really.

Well, my sweet friend Elizabeth (and Gary) from

offered a $35.00 gift certificate from CSN. I blogged about it here a couple of weeks ago, but kinda forgot about it until yestersday  when she e-mailed me that I had won.

If you haven't visited her sweet blog, you need to go meet her and her husband Gary. She has a lot of decorating ideas, sews and crochets beautifully. (In fact she made a red and white afghan that I have coveted since she made it) She amazes me how much she gets accomplished as she works and has a long commute.

Okay...back to the giveaway. I spent hours last night here. At first I was shopping for somehing outdoors. After all spring is right around the corner, right?

Then I heard the weather report for the weekend. Snow all around us and possibly in Bakersfield.

My thoughts went to snuggly and warm and  I came up with

It's a warm fuzzy throw and I chose the black and white one because as I have mentioned, I am adding all the black and white(heavy on the white)  I can to my black and tan decor.

I felt like I had just won the Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes.

My friend Gail at Victorian At Heart with her beautiful one year Blogaversary giveaway was at my front door. Not far behind was her hubby with camera pointed at...no make-up, no hair do, work around house clothes... embarrased ME.

I'm not even going to show those pictures here, because my "sweet" friend already posted them. Oh my!!
