Subtle Changes

I think fall is my favorite time of year. (Check back in the Spring and I will might change my mind).
Even though the temps are still teetering on 100 degrees, there are signs that  change is acomin'.

The kids are back in school.
The mornings have taken on a chill.
The leaves are beginning to change  (well, not so much in Bakersfield)
I am wanting to make soup.
Labor Day is this weekend.
Where the sun is in the sky at sundown has changed.
Our table outside was in the shade at dinner time...now completely in the sun.
How does that happen so quickly?
It's getting light later in the morning and dark earlier in the evening.
The garden is crying out for fall color.
Pinterest  is overcome with pictures of Fall inspirations.
I'm sharing some that I have enjoyed.

Well, you get the idea.  If you want to see more fall inspiration, click my Pinterest button on the side bar .  I have almost 100 pins for Thanksgiving and fall. I just can't stop so there may be more by the time you read this.

Hi Beverly,
What great Fall inspiration! Me too I can't wait for fall...
I made beef barly soup this last weekend and brought soup over to our parents and Gary's sister. I have been working on the binding to my grandson's quilt I should have it done to post for next Monday. What are working on?.
Have a sweet week sending hugs, Elizabeth

I'm feeling the same way - I'm ready for fall and to decorate! This weekend I plan to dig out my fall door mat and leaf wreath and hopefully the grocery store will have pumpkins. Just typing my plans makes my heart race and brings a smile - can't wait!

Yes, I am getting a little anxious for Fall myself. I honestly want some cooler temps! But I do love the feel of fall! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
P.S. Love all the features today! Got some of those pinned myself!

Fall is definitely my favorite season too ~ and you made very poetic observations (: I have yet to go on to Pinterest, knowing I'd probably get hooked and be spending even more time online than I already am. Have a great holiday weekend. I'm having a yardsale Sat. to celebrate. xo
